Today's post is proof that Before & After projects are some
of the most satisfying and economical types of recycling.

Traci at Beneath My Heart is a very clever girl.  Take a

Sometimes a complete re-do isn't possible - how about a cover up instead?

Here are the steps involved in making this beautiful wing back slipcover.

Cara of Pearls, Handcuffs, & Happy Hour gave

Looking for an affordable work table for a child's bedroom?

Inheriting a vintage chair from grandma is such
a blessing but it can often need a little updating:

Grandma would be so proud!

Keep an eye out for cool 1970s metal chairs.  They're
relatively inexpensive and still fairly easy to find.

Simply painting the trim transformed this
breakfast area in a very sophisticated way.

Emma Morris of Simply Cosy turned a pitiful Goodwill chest

Do you have a piece of furniture that has grown - well - dull?

Vintage thrift store chairs often have unusual shapes and textures.  Get creative!

Beautiful update of a vintage highboy.

Take a look at this hutch makeover:

It has so much personality now, doesn't it?

It's hard to believe that these bedroom makeover photos are of the same room:

I adore the horizontal paneling - such a charming transformation.

Before and After photos are brief glimpses of (what can be) time consuming
projects.  My hat's off to anyone who undertakes a renovation - big or small!

  1. What great inspiration . . . I am headed out to do some yard sales today. I hope that I find a little treasure to re-do :)
